The Silverdale Recycling and Garbage Facility project will deliver a modernized waste management facility through a combination of new construction, targeted upgrades, and site improvements. Key elements include a new attendant building, refuse shed (Building A), operator warming station, and storage building, with optional additions such as a Limited Household Hazardous Waste (LLHW) facility and rehabilitation of existing sheds B, C, and D.
Site work includes grading, paving, lighting, guardrails, and full utility connections for sewer, water, power, and communications. Additional improvements feature roadway frontage upgrades, walkways, drainage systems, retaining walls, and site restoration, enhancing overall safety, accessibility, and long-term performance.
