Pacific Building Conversion

This project is located in Port Orchard and involves the transformation of a 20,040 square foot, single-story former fitness center into a 75-bed co-shelter congregate care living facility for unhoused adults, families, and companion animals. The interior renovation includes reconfiguring walls, installing new MEP systems, and upgrading finishes without increasing floor area.

Externally, the scope covers new doors, canopies, exterior lighting, siding replacement, re-roofing, and paint. Ground and rooftop mechanical equipment will be added, alongside repairs to existing siding systems. Wall openings and penetrations will be infilled.

Site development includes frontage improvements, a new generator, grease interceptor, remote FCD, precast vault, sewer pump, hardscape, landscape, site lighting, CMU walls, dumpster enclosure, fencing repair/replacement, building and monument sign replacement, and parking lot reconfiguration. The project aims to create a modern, functional, and well-equipped facility while maintaining the existing floor area.
